Hello, my name is Captain Claude Ouvrard. I am a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain as well as a retired airline captain. The other captain on the boat is my son, Captain Mike Ouvrard. He has a degree in Bio-Medical Science and is currently at UW-Madison earning his Pharm.D. Together along with the rest of our crew, we will share our vast knowledge and fishing expertise with you aboard the Catch Five III, to make sure your fishing trip lives up to Catch Five Charter's high expectations and the reputation we have built for ourselves over the years.

Your Door County fishing trip will begin at the Baileys Harbor Town Marina located on Highway 57 in downtown Baileys Harbor. You will board the Catch Five III, a 32-ft. Grady-White sportfishing boat professionally rigged for salmon and trout charter fishing. The boat is equipped with the most up-to-date electronics and fishing gear to ensure your charter fishing trip is a great success. The Catch Five III will head out of Baileys Harbor to one or more of the many fishing spots on Lake Michigan that have proven to be very productive over the many years your crew has been fishing these waters. The state-of-the art dual Raymarine E80 displays will show a 3-D map of the Lake Michigan bottom and pinpoint structure that is sure to attract salmon and trout. As a bonus, you will experience the beauty of a Door County sunrise as the sun rises over Lake Michigan. Of course you may too busy fighting a drag-burning king salmon to notice the sunrise. Your charter fishing trip will end as we dock at Baileys Harbor after an exciting time on the water. The crew will hang your fish on the display stand and take pictures of you and your fish to document your fishing excursion. Your catch will be cleaned and packaged to your specifications so you can remember your Door County charter fishing adventure on the dinner table in the days to come.

We offer a private fishing charter with only your group on board and also shared trips with other fishermen. Generally, early morning departures are best for a successful fishing trip, although fish can be caught throughout the day. On a private charter, you may set any departure time you are comfortable with. Our shared trips require at least four passengers to depart, and we will do our best to accommodate individuals requesting a shared charter fishing trip.

Catch Five Charters is family and kid-friendly, so bring the entire family on your charter fishing trip. The crew will gladly assist the junior angler in any way they can. The kids will always remember the thrill of that giant salmon or trout on the end of their line! If they need a break from fishing, they can watch their favorite DVD's on the flatscreen TV/DVD monitor or plug in their iPod to the sound system in the cabin.
